YENN Educational Grants
YENN supports the pursuit of higher education and will reward one student with a $1,500.00 grant to help buy books and school supplies. Entrants must submit a 450 word, or less, essay about the philosophy of 'Karma'. The top 10 essays with the most votes will be read by YENN and a winner will be chose.
YENN Educational Grant eligibility requirements are as follows:
1. Must be a U.S. citizen or a U.S. permanent resident
2. Must have a 3.0 GPA or above if you are an incoming freshman
3. Must have 3.5 or above cumulative high school GPA
4. Must not be incarcerated
5. Must be enrolled in college
6. Must be a full time student
7. Must be a undergraduate
8. Must be enrolled in an approved degree program (please list your degree program when you submit your essay)

YENN says, "Music is my passion, but it is also a vehicle and platform that I am fortunate enough to have, where I can influence or help someone take a step forward to advance themselves." Knowing the importance of education, YENN managed to achieve a bachelor's degree, while touring and constantly recording music. After experiencing how hard university life can be, YENN wants to help as many students as possible achieve higher education with the launch of the YENN Educational Grant.

YENN is originally from Saigon, South Vietnam and has been on the entertainment scene since the age of 13, as an accomplished singer and dancer. Also known as Da Nhat Yen, she signed with Asia Entertainment in 2000, and began touring the world. YENN was the mastermind behind several best-selling DVDs, and musicals produced in her native Vietnamese language. YENN first debuted on the American charts with the Dance/Electro single, "So Good to Be Wrong," in 2010. It peeked at No. 25. After much success, YENN came back in 2011 with the electro-charged, single, "Pretty Ugly." YENN calls it a "celebratory" track that peaked at No. 14. The response to her new single "I Don't Need You To Love Me" is indicative that it too will be making a mark on the Billboard charts.
Scavenger Hunt participants must live in the United States to win. One winner from the following cities will win; Chicago, New York, Los Angeles, Atlanta and San Francisco, plus one winner from any state other than the five just listed.
