More A-List Talent Added To Music Of The Rolling Stones Benefit Show At Carnegie Hall On March 13, 2012
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Shore Fire Media) The star-studded lineup for Mar 13's Music of The Rolling Stones benefit concert at Carnegie Hall continues to expand, with recent additions including TV On The Radio & Jovanotti, Peaches, Marc Cohn, Taj Mahal, and Jackie Greene. They'll join the all-star bill already announced by music impresario Michael Dorf, which includes Rosanne Cash, Glen Hansard, The Mountain Goats, Steve Earle and others. The concert also celebrates the 40th anniversary of The Rolling Stones' Hot Rocks 1964-1971 with each artist playing a song from the album.

The concert marks the eighth installment of an annual series to raise crucially needed funds for music education programs for underprivileged youth. The total funds raised by the series have exceeded $600,000.

Previous sold-out concerts presented by Dorf at Carnegie Hall have honored the music of such timeless artists as Neil Young, Joni Mitchell, Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, Elton John, R.E.M., and The Who. 100% of the net proceeds from the concert will be given to nine music education non-profits: The American Symphony Orchestra Music Notes, Church Street School of Music, Young Audiences, Music Unites, The Pinwheel Project, FIKS (Fixing Instruments for Kids in Schools); and newly added beneficiaries The Mr. Holland's Opus Foundation, Midori and Friends, and The Center for Arts Education.
