NEW YORK (City Canyons Records) - City Canyons Records recording artists, The Alrights, kick off a tour of Colorado and points west on January 29 together with a glittering group of other talented alternative rockers including And Then I Turned Seven, With No Regrets, Van Gogh Syndrome and Last Dove.

The Alrights, newly signed to exciting Manhattan indie label City Canyons Records, kick off a tour of Colorado and points west on January 29 with a group of talented alternative rockers who might just be the future superstars of the rock world. Joining the Alrights will be And Then I Turned Seven, With No Regrets, Van Gogh Syndrome and Last Dove with special guests appearing at various venues along the way.

The first stop on the tour will be on January 29th from 6 p.m to 10:30 p.m at the Fortino Ballroom of Pueblo Community College at 900 W. Orman Avenue in Pueblo, CO where the tour will be joined by special guest Carport out of Canon City, CO. Additional January stops, all between the hours of 6 p.m. to 10:30, will be at the Sand Creek High School in Colorado Springs, CO on January 30th and at Aims Community College in Greeley, CO on January 31st.

The Alrights-a dynamic trio from Duluth, MN-formed in the summer of 2003. Consisting of Toby Churchill on vocals, guitar and keys, Danny Cosgrove on bass and vocals and Chad "Chavo" Amborn on drums, the band creates catchy, memorable, original material with songs varying in style from hip-hop soul to straightforward cutting edge rock as well as much in between. The components of the sound of this well-oiled musical machine are the rock solid presence of Chavo on drums, the steady yet fluid, funky and emotional bass playing of Danny, and the richly creative song writing of guitarist and keyboardist Toby. This band has given birth to, and is branding a sound, unlike any other.

In August of 2005, The Alrights won a month-long radio contest on M4Radio's "Rock Solid Pressure." As Grand Prize Winners, they earned the opportunity to join a showcase in Lakeland, Florida where City Canyons Records heard their unique and delicious sound and decided that The Alrights were simply one of the best bands in the country. City Canyons signed The Alrights to a three record album deal in late 2005 and will be releasing the Alright's album, HIGH SCHOOL in 2006 under the City Canyons label.

The Alrights's tourmates are equally distinguished. Also from Duluth, MN And Then I Turned Seven was likewise born in the summer of 2003 and then resurrected in the fall of 2004 with Dane and Jordan Schmidt, Pat Tarnowsk and new additions Kieren Smith and Chris Lee. With four tours in the books, almost a million plays on purevolume.com a critically acclaimed CD, BROKEN SUMMER, and a new EP due out soon, And Then I Turned Seven has only just begun to make a name for itself in the music world.

With No Regrets, featuring Travis Bennet on guitar and vocals, have been together for only a year now but have already carved out a reputation as one of the better bands in Colorado. With No Regrets has appeared on stage with D.O.R.K, Redline Defiance, Saving Verona and The Trampolines, to name a few. The band has just released a sparkling new EP, BETTER LEFT UNTOLD.

Last Dove consists of Sean Groh on drums, Jeremy Bacon on guitar and lead vocals, Pat Sweet on bass and back up vocals and Travis Elliot on guitar. While the other members of the band had been together for awhile, it was the funky groove influences of Travis Elliot that was the final piece of the puzzle that put together a rich sound that belongs to Last Dove and to Last Dove alone. The band bursts forth with funk at the drop of a hat, mix it up with powerful rockers and then slows it down with "lighter waving" ballads.

Van Gogh Syndrome began in 2003 with the creative writing of founding member Eddi Hollingsworth who was later joined by Xerek Segura, Tim DeHerrera, Paul Chambers and John Lewis who added more intricate guitar work and vocals. With added accompanying keyboard arrangements by Corey Vollinger, the band has blended the perfect mix of pop punk acoustic, ambient, and indie.

This is a line-up of bands that will rock audiences until they are limp with delight. Stay tuned for more tour stops coming in February. For information on booking this sparkling package of young stars, contact Kathy at the e-mail address listed elsewhere on this release.

This just in: The Alrights will be making a special appearance on January 27th at 9 p.m at The Mad Rock in Sioux Falls, SD with And Then I Turned Seven and special guest Solution.
