Neon Blue: Album Gets Great Review From 'The Country Music News'

(Country Music News) - Captions from Sept. 2005 issue of "The Country Music News":
CMN Reviewer writes:

"The music has a rootsy, down home feel, that ranges from the early country/rock sounds of the Eagles to the more traditional laid back feel of The Good Brothers".
"Several selections stand out . One Lonely Night is a solid country ballad complete with fiddle accompaniment; and there's a tasty Eagles feel to tunes like Summer's Gone and Katie. Nadine (not the Chuck Berry classic) is a bluesy and dark piece of music, while On My Own takes on more of a bar room atomosphere".

"There are a couple of neat changes of pace. I Will Be With You (Dark Isle) is given a Celtic arrangement and moves from a sawing fiddle intro into a fast paced fling. The main attraction on the album comes in the closing entry, Thank God For The Simple Man, an ode to Mark Doney's father and the influence he had on his life and his music".
"The album was co-produced by Mark and Sean Doney and was recorded at Ken Harnden's Pinnacle Music Studios in Belleville. In addition to Don Reed's fiddle magic, special session guests include Jon Park-Wheeler (guitars), Doug Johnson (steel / dobro) and Ken Harnden (keyboards)."
The album is available on Tower Records & CD Baby in the USA & through most major Canadian Music Retailers.
